The Widest Selection of Caulking Nozzles in the Industry (by Bob Reynolds)

Albion manufactures the widest variety of nozzles in the caulking industry. These allow caulkers to place just the right size and shape bead, even into the most difficult situations.

Round nozzles are available in sizes from one-eighth of an inch through five-eights, or you can even go up to as high as three-quarters of an inch by switching to a jumbo cap, or an inch-and-three-quarters by cutting down a cone nozzle.

Beveled or flattened bead nozzles
are available in sizes from 3/64″ of an inch, all the way up through an inch-and-an-eighth, or up to two-and-a-half inches by using a cap. I have to redo this one.

Triangle shape nozzles are available in sizes from three-eights, through seven-eighths.

Twin bead nozzles allow you to put down a set of beads on centers from half-inch, all the way up to two-and-a-half inches. This can also be accomplished with a double nozzle cap, or on a cove base nozzle.

Bent nozzles, such as our angle shot, allow you to extend the reach of a cartridge to get into difficult places. We also have a nozzle that will cut its way onto a cord cartridge, extending the reach, and allowing you to put down a flat ribbon like you might do with construction adhesive. We even have a bent cone nozzle that will extend your reach, and nozzle extensions allow you to take any standard nozzle and increase its reach by 3, 6, 12, or 18 inches.

Some other specialty nozzles we have are the precision metering nozzle, which allows you to put down a flat bead at your choice of height by moving the plate, or cut a design into the plate, if you need a V-shaped bead. Another very handy product is our dotting nozzle. When restoring a metal roof and you’re needing to put down a dab of caulk on each screw head, use the dotting nozzle with the pressure button in the center, and just walk along and dot each screw on the roof surface.
