NEW! ALUMINUM REPLACEMENT WHEELS FOR 640-SERIES BACKER ROD INSERTION TOOLS
Albion is proud to introduce NEW Aluminum Replacement Wheels for our popular 640-Series Backer Rod insertion tools. Aluminum wheels are more durable then standard plastic wheels, specially made to withstand use on rough masonry and concrete surfaces. This means less wear and a longer lasting tool for setting foam backer rods in caulk joints quickly, at a consistent depth and without puncturing.
The new metal wheels are available in four widths (1/8″, 1/4″, 3/8″ and 1/2″ wide) and are 2-1/2″ in diameter. They fit both the 640-4 Road Model and 640-5 Standard Model hand-held or pole-mounted Backer Rod Installers (sold separately). Both the 640-4 and 640-5 kits still come with the fixed plastic guide wheels plus 4 plastic adjustable insertion wheels that won’t mar or scratch delicate substrates like glass, aluminum or EIFS. The inserters are adjustable to place backer rod up to 1″ deep.
